what is the proper method for removing and installing a gearbox in a wind turbine?

i have been set a task by my college tutor to research the proper method of removing and re-installing the gearbox in a Vestas V27 wind turbine…

if nobody can provide me with a method how about a few useful links?

it doesnt have to be specific to a vestas machine as i’m sure that the method for removing the part is roughly the same for all turbines.

How to make a wind turbine?

I have a blade from a broken fan ( the motor broke so the blade is fine ) and wanted to know if anyone had plans on how to make a power generating wind turbine. I know not a powerful one but one to experiment with.

whats wrong if someones makes money through alternative energy?

I know it sounds like a quick way to make money when they scare us with global warming, but who even wants to work on an oil rig out on the open sea? I rather have a job in the city. what about all the coal miners that die for our electricity? how many die during installations of wind turbines and solar panels? at least you can survive the fall, not many survive when methane pockets explode and mines cave in.

Is there any other pros to wind energy other then them producing energy?

Is there any other things that wind turbines do that are good, other then produce energy? for example jobs? Any others….
