Is it worth my while putting a wind turbine onto my garage do power it?

I have a detached garage, and would like power to hoover out the car, mow the lawn, lights, possibly alarm etc.

Is it worth my while fitting a wind turbine for the bit of power I need intermittently.

I couldn’t answer that in proper terms, just a bit of power now and then.

As for the previous poster, my garage is across the back street from my house, and would cost me approx £1000 to run the electric from the extension, over the local authorities back street (which i have to pay a grant for!) and into said garage.
New toy, don’t think so, I have 2 small kids so i have enough on my hands you fool!

What size wind generator would I need to cover 9000 kWh a month?

I am interested in looking for a wind turbine system that could cover my entire house. My average is about 9200kWh a month. I know that there are many factors in these systems but I am intersted in finding out how big of a system I am looking at. All help appreciated.
